the end

i guess summer really is over. that means i'm supposed to be coming back to the jewelry blog right? well, things have changed. this summer was good in so many ways, and i think one of them was that i wansn't so busy with jewelry stuff. i love it, and it will still be my hobby...but it needs to just be my hobby - not a business. i'm so sorry if some of you were waiting on getting things until i came back, but guess what? there are a ton of people out there that do what i do. bonus is that they are probably a lot better than i am and have a lot of options. so, while i've really enjoyed getting to know so many of you i will have to hang my hat. thanks for the support and kindness you have shown. if you are needing some guidance on where to look for similar things, the first place i would look is etsy.com. just type in 'hand stamped jewelry', or 'soldered jewelry'. there will be enough there to keep you busy for hours. as far as the initial necklaces there is a site called sosobella.com that has been doing them. check it out HERE and good luck. thanks again. now go spend some good quality time with your families!!

two weeks notice

oh boy...

i have loved making jewelry for all of you...and i plan to continue...BUT i'm taking the summer off.  i need it,  my family needs it,  and i feel really good about it.  SO...i will take orders until sunday June 6th and then i will be done until further notice.  this will give me until the end of june to finish the orders -- just in time for me to be in utah for the entire month of july.  my kids start school in early august, so i anticipate it may be until after labor day before i'm back.  thank you so much for all your support and i hope you have a wonderful summer.

in the mean time...there are some awesome sellers on etsy.com.  all you have to do is go to the website and type in 'hand stamped jewelry', or 'soldered glass jewelry'  and you will be amazed at the amount of items that come up.  give yourself some time because you can be on that fabulous site for hours.  thanks again for letting me be a part of your heirloom jewelry.  it truly was my honor!

a few more ideas

graduation gift

i love this one!!  it is so playful with the mix of shapes, sizes, fonts, and metals!  you might not be able to tell (i'm not much of a photographer), but the 'thankful' charm is brass and the rest are silver.

so sweet and simple with four mini discs

grandmother necklace with extra large disc and mini disc on a link chain
this tiny disc is totally and completely adorable

more hand stamped disc ideas

large disc, long rectangle, star charm w/rhinestone.
large disk, med heart, mini flower, crystal charm
same necklace as above...just spread out.

large glass bead pendants

without flash
with flash

i was playing around with some large glass beads that i had (you know the kind you can make magnets out of?) and i came up with these pendants. i thought they were cute and i love how substantial they are. they are two sided. that always makes it easier to decide between some cute paper, an image, an initial, or anything else inside!

faq

i've had a few people ask me what the cluster charm necklaces look like while wearing them. so i took a picture of the necklace i wear almost every day.
here i am wearing it.
here it is on the table.
hope that helps.

feeling lucky?

i made several of these for my girls and some friends for st.patrick's day. i think they turned out fun. i also made my boys just the lucky penny on a leather cord. they are simple and fun.

bracelets

i just did these cute i.d. bracelets for a girl who wanted them in time for a trip to disneyland. i thought they turned out so so cute. they have the child's name and the mom's cell phone #. great idea don't you think?! i love it when clients give me something new to try!

Bubble Gum Bead Necklaces

i call these bubble gum bead necklaces for good reason. these are a lot of fun for young girls. I usually pair the beads with crystals in between and sometimes with a chunky crystal in the middle. lots of possibilities with these babies.
